Hope in the Midst of a Devastating Diagnosis

Andres is a night auditor at a San Diego hotel. During the pandemic, Big Table helped him pay his rent and buy groceries. In October of 2020, Andres was rushed to the hospital where he was diagnosed with Stage 3 stomach cancer. Andres underwent chemo-therapy but was unable to pay the $350 co-pay for a bone scan. That’s where Big Table stepped up to help again. One day, not long after the procedure, Andres sent us a screenshot of the results from his doctor. The note said, “Good news! Everything looks good. There are no areas of concern. You are cancer free.”
