Chris Simmons

Chris worked for ten years as a general manager for a national coffee chain where he saw firsthand the hardships people in the industry face. Fueled by a desire to help those he worked so closely with (and too much coffee), he quickly felt called to Big Table. He loves the opportunity to serve Nashville and give back some of the love he and his family have felt since moving there in 2012.

Chris, his wife Tina, and their two children, Parker and Emma, enjoy traveling, swimming, spending time finding “tressures” at flea markets, and gardening. Chris also enjoys cooking and introducing his Nashville friends to native Chicago dishes like his favorite homemade tavern-style pizza with sausage, tomato, and giardiniera peppers.
