Room to Breathe

Danielle is a kind and loving single mother. She is a hard-working sous chef who had just broken up with her long-term partner. Danielle and her daughter had limited time to move out of her ex’s house and get into a new place they could call home. Her boss, seeing the growing problem, referred Danielle for Big Table care. Danielle’s care coordinator, Miranda, connected her with a Numerica Credit Union housing program that would be a perfect fit for her family. Having a fierce go-getter attitude, Danielle immediately applied, completed the required courses, and was approved! Her new home needed to be outfitted, so we took Danielle shopping for a new bedframe and other household items. At a later Industry Dinner, Danielle was surprised with a gift card bouquet for many different home goods stores to finish decking out her place. With a solid budget in place and a roof over their heads, Big Table helped Danielle and her daughter finally find the room to breathe.
