I can never thank God enough for you man. I don’t know if you know this but what you guys do, it’s amazing. You give hope to people like us.
We try to catch people before they fall, but we actually met Edgar because he fell at work. Edgar is an exceptional busboy who has faithfully worked for a restaurant over 10 years. He was referred to Big Table by a caring patron after learning he had been struggling – and even tripping – because of progressing Multiple Sclerosis left untreated for 12 years due to lack of health insurance. Within 24 hours of meeting with his care coordinator, he saw a doctor who prescribed critical medications. Edgar finally has excellent health care coverage and is successfully keeping MS flare ups down. Perhaps most importantly, Edgar found a truly unconditional friendship during his hardest moments. Edgar feels so good that he now can “take on the world.”
