Dan Fecht is a writer, poet, and former chef with a deep passion for mental health and the hospitality industry. He is the only living poet—and one of a very select few writers—whose work has been personally endorsed by actress and mental health advocate Mariel Hemingway, granddaughter of literary icon Ernest Hemingway.

With a background in publishing, Dan continues to write for a magazine about food and travel, though his primary focus is on supporting people in the hospitality industry through his work with Big Table. He believes in the power of storytelling, conversation, faith, and community to create real change. When he’s not writing or connecting with others, you can find him traveling with his wife on the weekends or exploring new restaurants.
